Function
MOTOR 1
1. To start the motor 1, K1 coil needs to be energized.
2. 2. Normally open Start Switch S1 OR Normally open Float switch at low position OR closure of normally open VA1 or closure of normally open VB1 can energize K1 coil.
3. Opening of normally close S2 or High position of normally close Float switch opening will deenergize K1.
4. When K1 coil is energized, it will run the motor 1.
5. K1 coil will close the auxiliary contact K1-1 to close to continue the running of motor 1.
6. K1 coil will close the normally open K1-2 contactor to energize VA coil.
7. Closure of VA1 or VB1 which are parts of VA and VB can also start the motor 1.
8. K1 coil will close the normally open K1-2 contactor to bright the light L1
9.
K1 coil
will open the normally close K1-3 to cause the dark of light L2.
HOW TO PREVENT THE RUNNING OF MOTOR 2 WHILE MOTOR 1 is running
1. While Motor 1 is running, the normally close contact K1-4 is opened. No current can eneregize the K2 coil so that motor can not start MOTOR 2
2. . When motor 1 is stopped, normally close contact K1.4 recloses.
3. When VA2 and VB2 which are part of VA and VB (Normally open) close and the current reaches normally close stop switch S4 and normally open start switch S3.
4. When the start switch S3 is pressed, the current will pass through coil K2 and K2 is energized.
5. The coil K2 will close the normally open contactor K2-2 so that the timer coil can be energized.
6. The coil K2 close the normally open contact K2-3 so the lamp L3 will be bright.
7. The Coil K2 will open the normally close contact K2-4 so that the lamp L4 will be dark.
STOPPING OF MOTOR 2 by timer
8. After the coil K2 is energized, the closure of K2-2 contact energize the timer T.
9. When reaching the preset time on timer T, the timer open the timer contactor T which is normally close.
10. When timer contact T is opened, the coil K2 is deenergized.
11. De-energization of K2 open all K2 contacts so that motor 2 is stopped.
12. Then K2-3 is opened, so L3 is dark.
13. Normally close K2-4 contact is reclosed, so L4 is bright
